Appalachian Mountain Fishery
When fishing in the Appalachian there are three types of trout that can be found in the area. Brook trout, Rainbow trout, and Brown trout. With this being said the only true native trout to the Appalachian is the Brook trout, but to increase and grow the trout fishery other species of trout were introduced which can now be found all over the Appalachian Mountains.
Our Story
Appalachian Fishing Company started off as an idea when I was tying some flies getting ready for a trip. After guiding for a few years and being a current student at Lees McRae College in the Outdoor Recreation Management Program. I had taken a few Business classes and Recreation classes and I decided to take a shot and making a more inclusive and educational experience. While taking a Risk Management course I wanted to make a safer better experience and use what I have been learning and try and make a once in a lifetime experience for my clients.
